Return to Lewis Close and turn left onto Kiln Lane. After five minutes, turn left onto Quarry Road, then right into Trinity Road. The church stands ahead, shaded by old yews. Bus stops for services back to Oxford High Street lie nearby on London Road.

This modest 19th-century parish church was C.S. Lewis’s spiritual home for more than three decades. He worshipped here weekly from 1930 until his death in 1963, often reading lessons or attending weekday Communion.

Inside, a brass plaque marks Lewis’s regular pew, and sunlight through the Narnia Window glows with scenes from The Chronicles of Narnia: the lamppost, Aslan, the Dawn Treader, and the golden apple.

In the quiet churchyard you’ll find the headstone of Clive Staples Lewis and his brother Warren Hamilton Lewis, inscribed with the phrase “Men must endure their going hence.”

The site remains an active parish; visitors are welcome when services are not in progress.
